“Use only under professional supervision”... what kind of professional do I hire to help me dissolve cans?

If you ever went camping you knew this because you couldn't put coke in those cheap canteens, it would dissolve the inside.

This feels fake, considering those cans are extruded and having cut a bunch of them up for reasons.

Its true. Melt a can and you will smell the plastic burning.

i imagine the silvery bits have a clearcoat so unless you hit it with abrassive as well it would not react.

I feel like the fact the cans are pressurized would cause the plastic to burst once it was weakened enough...

Do you clean the condom out first it is it all sitting in there looking like a root beer float.

I've always wondered why soda didnt corrode the can inside out. Is it Bpa free plastic?

Aluminum forms a hard oxide layer when exposed to air. This is what the buffing removed. With it, the can wouldn't have reacted.

The plastic is adhered to the aluminum. You aren't going to see it easily without chemically removing the metal

Of course not. Not to worry though, soda isn't consumed in large quantities world wide.

You can use plastic like the bottle it’s stored in. The acid won’t eat through that. It WILL eat through Aluminum, concrete, and organics.

TheManWithTheVan . 2019-05-15 14:13:38
So wear gloves (latex), safety goggles, and work in a well ventilated area (nasty to breath in).

TheManWithTheVan . 2019-05-15 14:15:01
Also, instead of drain cleaner, you can use concentrated Muratic acid found at most hardware stores. It’s used to clean stained concrete
