READ THIS: You can still get HLDJ to work post-revolver update but it requires some extra steps that are not mentioned in the tutorial.
If you come as far as setting up HLDJ that you only hear yourself looped back when pressing the "Play audio button" then follow this tutorial: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=571928855 which fixes the remaining problem that the update introduced.
UPDATE: There's been an update to the sound codec is CS:GO. HLDJ should still work properly after re-converting your sound library. The current setting for sound files should be: WAV file in 22050Hz, 16-bit sampling rate, mono-channel.
Sound playback is now also of much higher quality which is nice.
Take a look at the manual if you're still unsure what to do, just remember that 22050Hz if the way to go from now on.
This is a short tutorial on how you can play music over voice chat in Counter Strike: Global Offensive. I felt that the current tutorials weren't enough in-depth so I used my broken English to try and help whoever might be having problems.
Leave a comment if you're having problems getting the setup to work and I'll get back to you as soon as I can.
