The leap aquatic life took to get from the sea to land is more than likely the same kind of process, technologically, that would need to occur to get from earth to the rest of the universe

For all we know the universe is more complicated and more abstract than our ape brains will ever be able to understand, no matter how much we evolve. The kaleidoscope of experience may never provide an ultimate truth and even if said truth is found, what then? will we be masters of all realities and create infinite energy? the quest to further our horizons wont lead us down a path towards the ultimate goal of preserving our DNA for eternity, it will only prolong the inevitable demise of this life raft made of fear we all cling to. drifting through an impossibly complicated sea of impossibly enormous energy serving and impossibly minute function in an impossibly complicated system of infinite impossibilities. lets not forget to love each other along the way.

Thank you for this video. I didn't know the local groups worked this way.
So, when our universe would fall back together (or how that's called), our future generations might choose to travel into that dark matter space, to escape that pull? They might not find other local groups, but it seems better than dying out.

By the time we are a type 3 civilisation we may have worked out how to exploit physics to travel further. You know if we arnt dead by then. We already have several theoretical ideas, like warp bubbles, worm holes etc and we are not a type 1 yet.

Although this is true we don't know what type of scientific advancement we will make in the future we might make portal tech making it so we can reach distant places better or we might find out that the universe at some point will start to slow down or that everything we thought was right is wrong we don't know what will happen we can only guess so there might still be hope

I don't believe this. I think in a few decades we will be able to rule the universe and make up our own laws of physics.

Fun fact, the ORION spacecraft which was designed in the 70's and uses conventional technology could reach alpha centauri, our closest star, in 21 years.

What if there is a type 3 civilisation on the edge of the universe and they know we exist but can't get to us
What if here are messages being sent to us but because they are billions of light years away we can't receive them
What if other civilisations know we exist but they know we will never know they exist
What if I keep having existential crisis'

I mean this isn't strictly true, this is only correct if we assume that the universe is expanding at faster than light speed supported by the big rip theory. We don't know how true that is anyway, so yeah it's not strictly true since we don't know if dark energy is really causing the expansions that fast.

Futuristic travels won't rely on developing vehicles with increasing velocity. Most likely,if ever possible, those will be wormhole vehicles or warp drives that can cover large distances in instant ,no matter how far the distances are.

But i believe in the coming few million-billion years we can be so highly advanced, who knows maybe we can even travel using worm hole, the very hole in the space-time continum🤔

How far will we go? We're already there. The universe is one thing, we're just bits of it. We're the universe, waking up and looking at itself. (Sagan paraphrased.) Many things that seemed like impossible magic 100 years ago are commonplace today. In as little as 100 years, things we think of as imposable magic today may be commonplace. Technology is accelerating. In the next hundred years, we'll learn more new things than we learned in the last ten thousand. What will we be capable of in two hundred? In a thousand? In ten thousand? We have no idea what's in store.

Other galaxy groups are moving away from us, but more slowly the closer they are, so there's really no reason we can't travel to some other galaxy groups. They will accelerate away over time, but we still have billions of years to be able to travel to them
