Is there a border we will never cross? Are there places we will never be able to reach, no matter what? It turns out there are. Far, far more than you might have thought…

So if the universe was formed by an infinite point of mass, where released gas condensed into planets and stars, etc and normal rules of physics didn't apply, where would the force required to make gas into a solid come from? And what about the point of mass? Where did it come from?

This is only depressing because we are used to thinking of ourselves as the center of the world, as special.
It shouldn't be depressing, it should be liberating.

What would one do on any other planet in space that he cant do or have already here on this beautiful earth...

I will never understand the need to waste so much money on that useless space things...man people are poor and want love, respect and dignity and we are wasting so much money on that space things...ah..

So why cant we just use the higher dimensions to travel between the pockets ?

I mean its all theory or crazy ideas i guess, but theoretically speaking the dimensions make distance non-existent to some degree right. A 2 dimensional world such as a drawing can be taken from my home and to my school with little to no effort by using the 3rd dimension. So theoretically we could move 3 dimensional objects across our plain by using the 4th dimension or above. Here's a thought; an ant on a piece of paper means little to nothing to us, and we mean little to nothing to beings of the 5th dimension, but that ant can get on a rocket ship and travel to the moon, and one day, we will travel to our moon as well.

Then again I'm the guy that says God knows not of our existence, he sneezed and produced the big bang. Our entire universe could just be the aftermath of a being of a greater dimension who sneezed, and to it we are the quarks it studies to understand its universe/dimension.

What if what we call the 3rd dimension is someone else's 1st dimension, just a random point in their ever expanding universe.

To those who don't know what a type 3 civi is, it takes part in the Kardashev Scale, estimating how advanced a civi is on how much energy it uses. A type 3 civi the most advanced civi, allowing people to fully control their galaxy, including planets, star(s), and even space. They can even rule and control other galaxies, and they can just sell a galaxy or planet like us selling a house. And we are a type 0 civi, but we are nearing type 1.

for all the quality this cahnnel seems to do, commenting about how its hopeless to reach something so little as 2million light years away is just absurd lies. this is like kindergarten stuff. it moves away from us at thousands of a percent of lightspeed, litrerally snails. when we can virtually match the speed with current world war2 similar tech propulsion systems then thats really slow

What if, just as the sentient beings of Milkdromeda, there is something that is impossible for us to detect, thus we end up creating a partially true version of the actual reality? For example, what if there were sentient beings before the big bang and they talked about how, in the far far future, other sentient beings after the big bang would simply not have access to all the information available before the birth of this universe.

What if travel at the speed of light with using wormholes and then have a system of gravity installed so that the Galaxy can be chased by the "thing".

So galaxies are expanding faster than the speed of light? What makes it impossible to invent a way to go faster than the speed of light if galaxies already travel faster than it? And what about wormholes? There is so much we are not of aware of that I don't think we can definitively say that we would be unable to reach other superclusters.

If we are able to confirm the existance of tachyons and learn more about them, we may be able to travel faster than light.
Tachyons are theoretical particles that can move faster than light. We can't see them... Because we see things with light which it is too fast to interact with.

So with our current tech level, and near-future tech level with our current understanding of physics, Dark Matter is the great glass bowl that confines us to our local group. With that being the case, perhaps a greater understanding of Dark Matter by our descendants, to the point of it being used as a source of energy and propulsion, could lead future generations further into exploring infinity. As a writer seeking to bridge the gap between 'Hard' Sci-Fi and Science Fantasy this is truly fascinating

we don't know enough about the nature of the universe to make that assumption yet. there could be things out there that change our laws of physics. i mean once we understand the nature of black holes it could lead to new insights into not only interstellar travel but dimensional gateways as well. a worm hole that could take us to the farthest reaches of the universe. if and when we get there, what new information will we discover?

To anyone who sees this I have 2 ideas-what if there was a way to stop the universe from expanding? And the science video dosent even consider the fact that since we operate at different frequencies, I would theoretically be possible to change our frequencies, therefore shifting us to the galaxy where our frequency has shifted to...but hey man, just a theory

I watched a video from minutephysics about how observing muons on the surface of the Earth is actually proof of time dilation due to their incredibly short lifespan, which means anyone who has somehow achieved near lightspeed travel will experience time much more slowly than normal. I forget the actual ratio, but we could theoretically travel so close to the speed of light that we experience time at 1/1000th the rate of everyone else. So, while anyone not traveling would only see the travelers moving at near lightspeed, the travelers would technically be moving at 1000x lightspeed based on their perceptions. While not useful for traveling to other superclusters, it means that I could technically outlive everyone on Earth while I bugger off to Andromeda.
